Belt strap replacement service
The belt is an essential item – but the buckle outlasts the belt strap in most cases. Aquila Fashions provides belt strap replacement services for customers who wish to keep their beloved buckles. To have your belt strap replaced with AF’s full-grain leather belt straps, you can:
- bring your current belt directly down to our factory
- bring your current belt to our bazaar stalls
- arrange to have Keching meet you to take a look at your current belt

To replace your belt strap
Step 1: belt structure
Is your leather belt open ended or close ended:
Open-end: One end of the belt can be cut to shorten it. Eg, most regular belts.
Close-end: Both ends of the belt are sealed, cannot be cut and the length is precise. Eg, Dunhill belts, Hermes belts, LV belts, Yves Saint Laurent belts etc.
Step 2: belt strap width
What is the width of your current belt strap? Please round up to the nearest millimetre (28mm, 30mm, 32mm, 35mm).
Step 3: colour
Choose the colour of your new full-grain belt strap:
black / brown / reddish-brown / tan / blue
red / natural / deep purple / italian blue
Step 4: model
Pricing corresponds to the model of the belt strap. Choose the model of your new full-grain belt strap from the following:
Step 5: length
The length to purchase is best based on the length of the belt you currently use.
Open-end: Measure the length of your current leather belt from the tip of the buckle to the hole that you use most often. It does not matter if that hole is the hole in the center or not. The rationale is to measure the actual length that you wear.
Close-end: Measure the length of your current leather belt from the pin to the most used hole. It does not matter if that hole is the hole in the center or not.
Our waist size is not an accurate length because most people wear their belts close to the hips, rather than directly on the waist. Please indicate the desired length in inches.
Step 6: other information
Please provide other information if necessary. For example, do indicate if your leather belt requires more holes in order to screw the the buckle onto the belt strap. Feel free to amend and email us the diagrams above and add in the necessary dimensions where required.
